PLUMBING SERVICES IN NORTH CAROLINA
RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING | COMMERCIAL PLUMBING
PMC of NC began as PMC of South Florida way back in 1977 when a twenty-three year old plumber Tim O’Neill got the crazy idea to start a business. Projects completed in Florida include thousands of homes, medical buildings, office buildings, and entertainment centers. Recognizing the opportunity in North Carolina, Tim moved the company along with his family after over twenty years of operation with the dream of working a few years and retiring.
Twenty years later, Tim still works daily and loves every minute of it—now with his son Sean at his side—building and managing PMC as we expand our presence all over Wake, Chatham, Orange, Durham, Johnson and Harnett counties. We specialize in service and prefer projects that require them. Our team is a family, and we seek to build a place where ambitious young tradespeople can grow and prosper and build a career. We are a family company, providing all of our customers with service and quality as if they were family.

FAQS
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s so special about custom homes and commercial work? Cant any plumber do it?
NO! There are many different sectors in plumbing and some require more thought and knowledge than others. There’s a huge difference between doing the same thing 100+ times over but not knowing the why’s of why it works, and having the knowledge and experience to build a unique plumbing system custom designed for each individual job.
Do you need a license for medical gas plumbing?
YES! We have multiple medical gas technicians with brazing qualifications certified to NFP99 health care facilities code. We use only piping certified for medical usage by the manufacturer, and a multi-step testing process to ensure the health and safety of the patients.
Why should I install a fire sprinkler system in my dwelling? What’s the benefit?
Imagine this: It’s December 26th, the day after Christmas. You’re sitting in the living room enjoying a nice hot chocolate with your family when, all of a sudden, a big plume of smoke invades the room. While you were relaxing and enjoying some Christmas cheer, an outlet that needed replacing long ago sparked in your mechanical room and lit up the nearby stack of drapes—climbing up into the roof so that by the time you realize your house is on fire, it’s too late to save it—or the over three decades of memories inside. This is a real story that happened to a close family member, and it all could have been prevented with a system of instant-activate fire sprinklers. The National Fire Protection Association has found that your chance of surviving a house fire with smoke alarms in your house increases by 50%. With a fire sprinkler system, that percentage rises to a whopping 97%. Don’t risk your home, your safety, or your memories by skipping this state-of-the-art home protection system.
Are you too busy to take on my builds?
